On May 31, 1968 - capping the bloodiest month of the Vietnam War for the USA - Lyndon Johnson was lounging in a field of Wildflowers with Hollywood actor Gregory Peck

 



During the peak of the Vietnam War when the USA had its most horrific casualties and many Vietnamese died too in May, 1968, Lyndon Johnson on May 31, 1968 was lounging around in a wildflower field of brown-eyed susans with Hollywood actor Gregory Peck – 11,947 American soldiers in Vietnam were hospitalized in one month alone

 Remember “killed in action” does not include wounded by physically and mentally scarred for life! 11,947 American soldiers were hospitalized in May of 1968 - making it the bloodiest month of the Vietnam War for the USA. Huge amounts of Vietnamese civilians and soldiers were also killed and grievously wounded during May, 1968.
